Overview
About 2 hours and half driving, Hoa Lu was the ancient capital of Viet Nam from 986 to 1009. Tam coc means three caves, it is often referred Ha Long bay on land. Combining between Hoa Lu and Tam coc , You will have a truly unforgettable experience by rowing along a peaceful Ngo Dong river with green paddy field on the banks and knowledge about apart of Viet Nam history.
Itinerary
07.45– 08.30 Pick up from your hotel or private address in Hanoi Old Quarter and departure to Ninh Binh by comfortable transfer. On the halfway stop for short break about 20 minutes.
11.00 Arrive in Hoa Lu, visit two temples of King Dinh and King Le in the 10th century, finding out the heroic histories of these two Kings in Chinese Wars. After visiting Hoa Lu, the bus will transfer you to Tam Coc and have lunch at the restaurant.
13.30 Board the sampan boats in Tam Coc dock to drift down the river among the villages, mountains and lush rice fields. Passing through 3 caves “Hang Ca – First cave, Hang Hai -Second cave, Hang Ba – Third cave” to get a strange feeling.
15.15 Boat returns to Tam Coc pier. And then we have 45 minutes for cycling around village. Take the bus back to Hanoi.
18.30 Arrive at the hotel in Hanoi old quarter. Tour ends!
